Sister Maria  Sister Maria is one of the teachers in the St. Lucia Academy. 



She appears the first time at the student guidance room while scolding Shion Sonozaki because of her being always late for the classes and ignoring several other rules of the Academy. She advices her to behave obediently while getting used to life in the St. Lucia and then reveals that she is the liaison officer of this school. When Shion is about to leave, Sister Maria asks her about Mizuho and says that the incident in the school's pool is not first for the girl.



The next time Sister Maria is seen alongside Ooishi and his colleague, who are investigating the death of the fallen girl. She thinks that it is a suicide and asks the detectives to close the case as quickly as possible because if the investigation goes any further, the reputation of the St. Lucia Academy will be damaged. After the arrival of Mizuho, she tells the detectives the story about incident in her family.
